Vectortuts+ Maurizio Russo (Mau Russo) is an Italian designer and illustrator and he started as creative in 2000 for digital tv. He's now is a freelance for italian studios and worldwilde clients. His style is born from the comic book field that he's always loved.

MintDesign.com Mau Russo is an exciting graphic, vector, illustrator. Based in Italy he has created some outstanding adverts, branding, graphics that go beyond the predictable. He has been working since 2000 and would also delve into the world of comic books.
My favorite image so far is the 'Elektra'. A humors take on a female warrior. The expression combined with the line style/shape add to the complete look.
The Fiat advert as a slight 50's feel to it in my option. Yet Mau Russo has given it a modern look.
